give

Everything we do is made possible by you.

Because of your support we can continue to run our Sunday services, Alpha and groups for students, children and young people. Being a beating heart for the city also means offering support to the most vulnerable in our community through our Love Your Neighbour campaign. We are so grateful that you’re considering supporting us financially.

Regular giving is vital to our mission as it enables us to plan impactful, long-term projects to reach more people with the love of Jesus. It also helps us to budget effectively and steward our resources with integrity. Thank you so much for your generosity.

Where does my giving go?

We are incredibly grateful for the donations we receive knowing that these enable us to continue providing support for people both in our church and local community.

If you are interested in understanding the impact of your giving and how St Matt's use our funds then we'd encourage you to take a look at our ‘Where does my giving go?’ report and check out the video below.

In this short interview, Ed catches up with our church treasurer, Neil Williams, to hear about how our church is funded, why regular giving matters and the impact of your giving to St Matt's.

How can I give?

Parish Giving Scheme

The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) is a Direct Debit system that claims gift aid on behalf of the church and allows donors to commit to increase their giving in line with inflation.

You can find out more about PGS and set up giving through them here. Our parish is called’ Exeter St Matts’ and our code is 151500801.

Online

Giving online is simple. Follow the links below to make either a one-off gift or give regularly.

Please note, there is a small fee for each transaction. If possible, we’d love you to consider giving directly into our bank account using the details below.

Gift Aid

Boost your donation by adding 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate.

Gift Aid can be reclaimed by St Matt’s from the Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax you pay for the current year. We need your up-to-date postal address to identify you as a current taxpayer.
