Whoever you are…
we have something for you.
St Matt’s gathers every Sunday and throughout the week: whether you’re new and want to try Alpha, would love a mid-week service amongst the busyness of life, are a student and want a weekly place to hang out, make friends and have fun or are a parent of a little one and need a safe space for your child to run about whilst you chat and enjoy a cuppa, there’s lots going on.
We meet every Sunday for worship, prayer and teaching.
Join us at 10:30am for an informal, contemporary service with cafe from 10am.
Our brilliant Matt’s Kids groups run for 1-11 year olds and a POLO (Parents of Little Ones) lounge, where parents and their little ones can enjoy the service by live link, run at the 10:30am service.
We also have mid-week Holy Communion services. Join us at St Matt's at 11am on Wednesdays followed by some tasty soup. Alternatively, join us at St Sidwell's chapel at 10am on Thursdays and stay afterwards for a cup of tea or coffee in the downstairs cafe which is run by the St Sidwell's Community Centre.
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you like.
We love students at St Matt’s and are so excited you’ve chosen to come to Exeter. Journey with us as we explore faith, develop lasting friendships and share God’s love with those around us.
Student Nights are every Thursday evening at 7.30pm in St Matt's Church. Or join us at our 10:30am Sunday service to get to know the rest of the St Matt’s family.
Parents of Little Ones is a growing family of mums, dads and children and a wonderful support both on Sundays & during the week. Come hang out during the 10:30am service in our POLO lounge where you can enjoy the service via live link.
We also run a weekly POLO group on Tuesday mornings in St Matt’s Hall from 10-11:30am for parents and their under 5s. There are toys and games galore, singing and stories and snacks for children (plus hot drinks and cake for the parents!).
If you have any questions, do ask us.
We are passionate about seeing children grow up knowing and experiencing God’s love. We want them to know they are known and loved, created for a purpose, that God has something to say to them and they can make a difference for Jesus.
Each week our brilliant Matt’s Kids leaders run fun and active age appropriate sessions with bible based teaching and plenty of arts, crafts and games.
